A few weeks ago I commented to Aeon that I needed to take a trip to our local beauty college for a manicure. He was good with this but suggested instead that I take a trip to a nail salon and get nails instead. This created some anxiety for me. You see I am 37 years old and have never had fake nails. Also, I am by nature cheap. I hate to spend money on certain things and he idea of spending $25+ dollars on fake nails was difficult for me. Well last Friday after Aeon arrived home from work he gave me his debit card and sent me on my way. I got my nails in a reasonable length and decided against any frillies like air brushed designs, dazzley gems or danglies. I instead opted for a conservative ice blue polish.
Aeon found them pretty but not exactly what he was wanting. I will however being going back on a regular basis to have them filled, polished or designed as needed. Aeon is very intent on making me girly. I resist this as I have always been a jeans and tennis shoes girl.
So with out further ado here are my nails, well at least my left hand.

well i think they are very pretty..i am being encouraged to do the same thing..desperately trying to grow them but they keep breaking..
the ice blue is fun and pretty.
I am a frocks (dress) girl myself but not always been this way..embrace the girly..its fun.
